Not so Hairy Biker

Si and Dave (TVs Hairy bikers) are on the road and have left the little known - not so hairy biker - Phil to look after the kitchen and cookery demos. In this video Phil shows how to make a decent cup of tea - or cuppa. The dialect is broad Geordie (sort of).

The real Hairy Bikers.

  2. A close approximation of my Ma inlaws accent, Thought you were making a cup of tea though not a cup of sugar water flavoured with a hint of tea !
Not that Tea would ever pass my lips though as I cant stand the stuff.

  3. Marian and Dean: Thanks for both your compliments. The excessive sugar was part of the joke really. I can't stand sugar in tea myself although my dear departed Granny Hanson could never remember when I paid her a visit and she complimented cups of heavily sugared tea with sickly sweet cakes or sugar coated biscuits. Bless her.

  5. Phil, I was a student in the north-east, so I can confirm you've got the accent off pretty well, bonny lad. But that's no way to make a cup of tea, man... ye cannot make a decent cuppa without a teapot. Haway.
