St Valentine's Day fantasy.

If you could have a fantasy St Valentine's Day, who would you choose to spend those precious moments with and where would you spend the time? In the fantasy, money is no object and the fantasy lover can be enjoyed guilt free.

My personal choice would be to spend the time exclusively with the French actrice, Audrey Tautou. Our time together would be in a private carriage on the Orient Express from Paris to Venice. We would share a beautiful meal and each other's company, some fine champagne and lots of luuuurve! How she would love to hear about my life at Tesco.

Philip: So Audrey, this customer came over t' meat counter and ordered some pork chops and 550 g  of lambs liver.

Audrey: (eyes wide with desire) Oh Philippe, you enchant me so. Tell me more mon amore. Tell me about your sausages en offre and ozzer stuff.

Happy Valentines all xxx

Ooh I love this idea but for the life of me I cant think of anyone. I know this sounds super soppy but if money and time etc were no option then I would like Doo to do all the romantic, fairytale style grand gestures every girl dreams of. Happy Valentines Day xx

Kate: Super soppy with your Doo sounds a great notion for true romance. Happy Valentines

hysterical!... mine would be with Alexander Skarsgaard from True Blood... and we'd be on board a Viking Longship eating chunks of fish and bread... and other stuff...

Dom: Aaah yes, eating chunks of bread and fish and smorgesbord and qouting Beowulf to each other. A Viking Valentine to you.

If money was no object, for Valentine's day I would invite all my friends round to dinner in my own Loire Valley château. There would be champagne and a candlelit dinner, a string quartet, a dip in the heated pool and romantic dancing on the terrace. There would be roses for all the ladies and a bottle of best cognac for the men. You can keep your film stars and celebrities, friends are what count.

Well, you did say money no object ... !!

Audrey is fab. Amilee is a great film full of whimsy and hope. If you're on the Orient Express together, she'll be able to show you her Leica camera, which she used in the ad over Christmas.

Hilarious - though you'd have to fight Steve for Audrey Tatou (have you seen her in Priceless? ). Not sure who/what my fantasy Valentine would be, I'm not at all romantic & in almost 32 married years we've only exchanged cards once. The one time I made a joking remark about other people getting flowers on Feb 14, Steve had a red rose sent to me at work, which was so embarassing as I worked in a bank & the place was full when I was presented with the flower. Never again did he risk that one. I don't even like indoor flowers.

If I had to celebrate romance, it would be with Steve, on a beach somewhere in the UK, with a delicious picnic & a bottle of English fizz. And a blanket to keep us cosy.

I can see the attraction Phil. She's a mighty pretty girl.

I've been catching up on a few of your posts, Phil. I swear you are accident prone.
I drove through Rudd yesterday and thought of you. What on earth happened to Grices?

ps, I think she would have found your company very interesting and, although it might be murder for some, I agree with having such company on the Orient Express from Paris to Venice.
