Wow!! My first travel review has been accepted

Whilst looking for work I have also been working hard on trying to get my travel writing in a forum where I get paid for it. My friend Jeanette suggested that I try http://www.simonseeks.com/ and over the last three or four weeks I have been working hard on two travel reviews. One of them is about my recent trip to the lovely city of Norwich and one yet to be published is about two hotels in Bordeaux and eating cheaply in that most fab of French cities. Simon Seeks are very professional and very exacting with the reviews that one submits and I have had to edit my review at least three times and change the size of my photos. All good stuff though.

Check out the http://www.simonseeks.com/ link because my review is on the front page. Go Phil!!!!!

PS: I start my new job this afternoon. Looking forward to it.

Phil x

Thanks everyone. I did five hours at the CocoTang cafe yesterday. All the staff seem very friendly and I enjoyed helping them set up the cafe. Back again this weekend.

This is your time now, my friend - a new job, published reviews, (it was very good),who knows what else might happen?
I do wish you well - you deserve to succeed.

Thanks very much FF. You are a wonderful woman and very encouraging. I am in total accord with what you said in your post. Everything seems very positive at last. xxx

Aw, thank you for the compliment. Right back at you, Mr Lowe. I hope to read good anecdotes about cafe life in the future - but I guess you have to be discreet as well. Maybe take your name from the blog to make it less accessible if someone (an employer) were searching.

(please feel free to delete this - you know what I mean)

ps. - Dean - Norwich is a lovely city, it really is. I've been there often and it's everything Phil says it is.

Your review of Norwich was excellent, & has given us plenty of ideas for where to go & where to eat when we visit (just for a day) later in the year. If funds allow we might even stay over a couple of days, as there is obviously a lot to see & do. May your days at Cool Tang get better & better.xxxxxx
